Hokkaido, the northern island of Japan is getting more and more popular over the years for the fluffy powder snow.
The sweet spot for ski/board freaks still is Niseko, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Mt Fuji of Hokkaido, Yotei.
Mt Yotei actually helps the famous Mt Annupuri (with 4 ski slopes: Grand Hirafu, Hanazono, Annupuri and Niseko Village) to have the dry powdery snow that is most suitable for snowsports.
It is actually not the snowiest ski resort in Hokkaido, but the quality of the snow on a good day is one of the top of world class.
The fact that so many outdoor lovers from all over the world has settled in Niseko, making this small town with only 20,000 in population, the most international area in Japan.
Having worked for a Michelin restaurant group Kamimura and a property management company MnK in Niseko, the founder of Helping Dragon realized that guests there feel the reassurance that prioritized language is English here.
Especially during winter, the majority of people there are visitors and workers from overseas, so nothing to worry about in terms of language when you are in Niseko!
